The blog that I researched was http://techcrunch.com/. This blog is very popular and was founded by Michael Arrington in 2005. This website is constantly viewed especially amongst techies and computer lovers, however, it is a great blog for anyone interested in technology and very useful for technological based questions.
Here is a little history about techcrunch. The blog started as web publication that offers technology news and analysis. It also focuses on profiling of startup companies, products, and websites. The company took off quickly and now spans across the entire technological industry. It ranks second according to Technorati (a search blog engine) and is considered one of the leading tech blogs on the internet.
When surfing techcrunch, I thought the most interesting topic was a blog written by Len Jordan. Rather than focusing about technology, this post talked about how to work with your board of directors. The report basically stated that rather then being secretive and defensive about your ideas and strategies be open and willing to work closely with your peers. As a member of different executive boards this post taught me to confide in other members for help. After all executive boards are all working to improve the same company.
